Why can't I connect to nj7p?

Postby DeathRex » Wed Dec 05, 2012 7:06 pm

Nj7p.info and nj7p.org says they are up, but I can't connect for several weeks now.
At first I wanted to be a ET. Now I are one.

Fine wine comes in glass bottles, not plastic sacks. Therefore the finer electrons are also found in glass bottles.

You're being filtered somewhere along the line, either at your ISP or at nj7p. You could try a traceroute to pinpoint where. One of my old bosses' computers was banned from there, because his IP did not reverse correctly.

Can you proxy in OK?

Maybe there's an IPv4/v6 cockup in the line somewhere.

That does work. Should I call my internet company to fix the regular way?

I would. Could be a problem with their DNS.

There seems to be a routing glitch. You can copy and paste the traceroute result in an email to your ISP. Depending on where #8 is, I suspect they will blame someone else or advise you to wait until it resolves itself.

There appears to be a few kaputski routers at the moment....
